Feb. 2 2026 - Service Disruptions

Please be advised of the following service disruptions and delays affecting operations today:

• Cape Breton: All routes will not be operating.
• Truro, NS (and surrounding serviced areas): Service will be delayed by approximately two (2) hours.
• HRM: Service will be delayed until 11:00 AM.
• All other areas of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick: Delays are expected.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding. Further updates will be provided as information becomes available.

Operations in Sydney NS will be closed today.  Drivers will only be travelling on main roads.  Please expect delays in all areas.

New Brunswick Depot closing at 12 PM January 26, 2026

Please be advised that our New Brunswick depot will be closing today at 12:00 PM (noon) due to deteriorating weather conditions.

All afternoon pickups, deliveries, and customer service operations from this location will be suspended for the remainder of the day. Service will resume once conditions improve and it is safe for our team to operate.

Closures

Due to weather conditions across Nova Scotia, MBW Courier will be closed today to ensure the safety of our staff and customers.

All pickups, deliveries will be temporarily suspended until conditions improve. Our team will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as soon as we are able to resume normal operations.

Service Delays

Please be advised that there is currently a power outage affecting the Blockhouse area, which may cause delays in service.

In addition, please expect delays in all other areas due to ongoing snow clean‑up. Our team is working as quickly and safely as
